FISHER WINS PEARL CUP

  Terry Fisher, member of the RBBG, has won the club’s Pearl Cup, beating Peter Norwood in its inaugural year.

  The final, played at the Prince Arthur Bowling Club, Gillingham, was the first since the club’s re-forming as the Rochester Blind Bowling Group.

  Norwood battled, craftily, and kept the match tight for the first few ends. However, as Fisher took command, he built up a healthy lead and made sure of the title with an unassailable lead that could not be overhauled.

  Fisher & Norwood have been members since 1998 and 1994, respectively.
